BF4 Beta Impressions: There’s A Boat On My Subway Station | GameFront

GF - "I’m a man who enjoys his Battlefield 3. I’ve logged several hundred hours in the game, give or take — barely touching the 1,000-ish hours I dumped into BF2 during high school and college, but I digress — and it’s a winner in most categories. Where it falls short, as many of you may know, is in the details. There’s no Commander Mode, and there’s no Spectator Mode, which cripples the game’s eSports viability." (Battlefield 4, PC, PS3, Xbox 360)

not surprised at both takes about the sniper class, saying the weapons are overpowering up close (hello Mcfly!!),theyre deadly for a reason. then the other part, about touch and go at long range, not surprised,EA/DICE want snipers to be run and gunners but so do most of the players (whom are runners) or theyd complain to EA about being shot dead constantly (not always the fault of a powerful weapon but a lot to with predictable movement of the player),yet feel no guilt running behind a sniper to stab or rpg them in the back. its time EA/DICE stop putting restrictions on classes / weapons for sake of balancing the game, because it doesnt balance things, only aides the majority classes and complainers.

good beta on console... EVEN BETTER ON PC... people just need to remember this is a Beta for testing DICE servers and help look for bugs.. end game will be optimized like how BF3 was from its Beta

I really think that all of the classes are fun to play and are fairly balanced. but we'll see if that holds up when the game finally releases.
