Knack For All Trades: Mark Cerny's Legendary Career In Games

Marky Cerny's portfolio is filled with classic games like Marble Madness, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Crash Bandicoot, and more, making his development career one of the most renown in the industry. Sony tapped into Cerny's decades of experience when they asked him to be the system architect for their next console. Cerny has a deep understanding of cutting-edge technology but still has a passion for fun character-focused platformers; the action/platformer Knack is his first project as a creative director, and it launches along with the PlayStation 4 on November 15. Yeah Crash Bandicoot was definatly 1 of the hardest games on PS1

Levels like Slippery climb,Road to nowhere and Highroad is what nightmares are made of.

That game (and the series as a whole) are very fun to play still to this day.

What i liked was the advertising Sony did. That one commercial where Crash was egging on the old lady...classic.

Cerny is a stand up guy with lots of experience. no doubt he will do great things with the system.

I've just finished the first one again and I really like the difficulty in this game. Yes you are going to die a lot but the more you die the better you become up to the point where you can almost spreed run through a level without dying.

What was really weird though is that you have to play with the D-pad. Took some time to get used too again.
