The 5 Worst Console Ports from Current Generation

GearNuke: We take a look back through this generation and look at some of the multiplatforms ports for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, which were either terrible or downright unplayable. We have compiled them in a list of 5 worst console ports. (Bayonetta, Crysis 3, PS3, Silent Hill HD Collection, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, The Orange Box, Xbox 360)

An honourable mention should go to Dark Souls as the worst port from a console too.

Funny because it goes from worse port to best port when the mods are added.

Bayonetta is fine, especially after the patch. The Orange Box isn't though, sadly. It's a shame Valve and Sony couldn't make amends earlier.

The early Clancy games were abysmal on PS3.
Especially R6 Vegas and GRAW 2, although GRAW2 was still fun to play.

I still get sad about the Silent Hill HD "collection".
It's like they purposely went out of there way to destroy those games.

I honestly think that whole "Bayonetta on PS3 is garbage" is bull. It was terrible when it first launched, but after the patch WHICH HAPPENED SOON AFTER RELEASE the game is perfectly fine on PS3. How are people still complaining about this?

Because its a PS3 issue. if it was on xbox 360 everyone will go hush hush on it.

While I'll agree that it's more 360 fans giving a PS3 version crap, I disagree completely with if it was the other way around that it'd be "hush hush." It's opposite sides of the same coin, each party gives eachother the same crap.

Red Dead Redemption on the PS3. I bought it and then saw the Xbox version at a friend's house, and the difference was night and day. It was the only game I had to return and buy the Xbox version. The PS3 is my primary console, and I still hate to see that lonely trophy on my profile.

Such a shame, because it's one of my favorite games of the generation.

Sorry...meant to hit agree. While it wasn't bad enough to get me to buy for the 360, it did make me realize R* were not the devs I thought they were.

While many tried to downplay it by bringing up the extra "I'm sorry we screwed up" DLC for PS3, it's still was a smack in the face to all PS3 owners at a time when this was happening on a regular basis from 3rd party devs.

Yeah....that Bayo patch came long after I traded the game. It was completely broken and the complaints were justified...

Not sure "completely broken" is accurate. Other than frame drops and that weird loading thing with items, it wasn't so bad. Granted the Xbox version at 60 frames is much slicker and nicer and the graphics weren't washed out looking, but ps3 version was perfectly playable pre-patch.
