Grand Theft Auto V Almost Killed My Watch Dogs Buzz...But It's Back | Kotaku

Kotaku: "Grand Theft Auto V is so well-made, so visually impressive—even on my creaky old Xbox 360—that it could crush any excitement I might have for any other 2013 open-world action games that are set in big cities and let you steal cars and cause mayhem. There is that risk.

And there I was, yesterday, with a chance to play November's Watch Dogs running at a demo suite in a hotel in New York City. I think it was the E3 build that the game's senior producer, Dominic Guay was showing. Looked next-gen but, frankly, GTA V looks pretty close on current-gen."

The story is too old to be commented.

What a lame headline. Oh, its Kotaku.

I find your lack of faith disturbing, Kotaku. <force Choke>

Loool that was funny.

However watch dogs won't be as good as GTA 5 Singleplayer. From the gameplay vids I've seen it wont match up. Heed my warning you'll remember one guy said this after u see the review scores of 8 out of 10 which doesn't make it a bad game.

It is possible, I really enjoyed the GTA V main story. I guess we'll see.

I friggin Lol'd XD

I'm glad GTAV gave current gen one of its last hurrah's. The big games that have come out this year on current gen consoles have all looked pretty good though a few are taking the cake by doing some effects that look similar to next gen stuff.

Especially impressive:
The Last of Us
Beyond Two Souls
Grand Theft Auto 5
Gran Turismo 6

Watch dogs? The division will crush that game.

Kotaku can get hit by a short bus.
