City Of Titans Kickstarter Receives Over 100k On First Day

One of the spiritual successors to the much loved, yet now defunct, superhero MMO City Of Heroes launched it's Kickstarter campaign today, and has already earned nearly one third of it's $320,000 goal.

Previously known as The Phoenix Project, City Of Titans along with Heroes & Villains, and Valiance Online are three MMOs that are following in the footsteps of NCsoft's comic book superhero themed City Of Heroes, which was shutdown on the 30th November 2012, despite protests and campaigns from it's loyal fan base.

With three superhero themed MMOs in the works, and City Of Titans raking in so much funding on it's first Kickstarter day, it would appear that the heroes and villains left homeless since November 2012 will once again have a city to fight over. Oh this one will be a good paycheck for them. Have other people pay the costs of production then sell the game and charge people monthly fees to continue playing it! Genius! They get rich using other peoples money!
