Watched a few videos to educate myself on the technique, seems very cool if implemented. However, I don't think it's a game breaker if it is omitted in the final product.

As long as the sacrifices are made for a good reason, there should be no major issues IMHO.

Even GT6 has tessellation:

Awesome find man, GT6 looks awesome. Probably get back into some Gran Turismo with that one, haven't gotten the last few.

Might pick up GT5 XL with all the DLC and what not, seems like a great deal.

Would you recommend GT5? Seems like you might know a bit more about it than I do.

Yes but having tessellation on a small map based racer is a lot less stress on hardware then a full open world environment. Big difference. Though why not on PC is kinda strange

Hi, I know a lot about gran turismo. Been playing the games since GT1. I recommend you wait a few weeks and get Gran Turismo 6.

Yep, a design choice with both rhyme and reason, I'm sure.

As long as it doesn't prevent me from running down old ladies in the street, then it's all good!

I don't see why this shouldn't have Tessellation on PC. It seems to be a nice feature that is being included in a lot of recent PC titles.

Nvidia is working well, good investment.

This article is trash. All games uses tessellation, this is not something you can clearly tell from a god damn promo slide show.

Plus it doesn't make any sense, if Nvidia is sponsoring all Ubisoft games then why would Ubisoft not use tessellation on the PC? Who approved this garbage anyway?
