If you hoped to play Phantasy Star Online 2 on the upcoming PS Vita TV (which is very likely to come west much before the game does anyway), you’re in for a cold shower.
Are you fucking kidding me?
Nope. Dead serious.
Are there Vita handheld functions on PS02? Edit: I mean that cannot be replicated by DS4.
there's a bunch of touch screen stuff AFAIK, but nothing too complex. And the game is out on PC, so it's not like there's no touch screen-less interface available
Sega stay f*cking up. This game is long overdue in the west and they have yet to give the slightest news about it.
I see, hmm... Maybe this is being done to push PS Nova? I mean its kinda sad if they don't make it compatible for no reason :(
Neither will my TV because I just put my foot through it >:(
I dont care, I own a PSV anyways.
If you want to play it on a monitor/TV, you're better off with the PC version. MMOs are played better on the PC anyway, and the game is far from demanding specs wise :/
Well i guess they want their game to exclusivly to be portable lmao.
My question is will the VitaTV just not play these games or will they run but you just can't do certain things? I'd like it so that if I pop in any game it will run and I'll just have to pass on the parts where touch is required.
It's either Sega is lazy or it will take some time to remap the controls for the DS3 or some controls won't be compatible due to touchscreen and touchpad feature.
Sega again stop screwing us!! I actually thought they would of gone really good together(PSTV/PSO).
that is why I always say that PS VITA TV is a misleading name! It will never be able to play all PS vita games. It is still a great micro home console that can play certain vita title, pan titles, PSP titles and PS one title.
