Call of Duty Not Representative of Military Life, says Ghost producer

The Call of Duty series has often prided itself on its realistic take on military warfare. However, as the years have gone on, they've veered away from a realism and moved more towards the Hollywood blockbuster territory seen in Call of Duty: Ghosts and its sci-fi elements.

Very realistic. I mean you can shoot someone 1ft behind them and they die as is you shot them dead on.

Of course it's real.

You can totally 720 no scope double switchblade knife pull flip temperr shot just like snipers do in the real military.

ATi_Elite1571d ago (Edited 1571d ago )

Are you trying to tell me that COD is not a military simulator?

You mean you really can't 1 shot snipe and kill someone with a pistol in real life from so far away that you can see the Earth's curve?

First the Government shuts down and now this. What's next, Santa Claus is not real?

Skate-AK1571d ago

Well you know that thing called the Tooth Fairy....

The next big thing is that ATI doesnt exist anymore.

Woops sorry i just destroyed your dreams, please forgive me kind yet gracious sire.

Ohlmay1571d ago

Really? I thought everyone in the Military jumped off buildings doing 360 no-scopes... *Rips Army sign up sheet*

tigertron1571d ago

You mean I can't absorb bullets, no scope someone from a distance or knife someone from a mile away?

LightSamus1571d ago

Don't forget your throwing knives/tomahawks that kill on contact, even if one just scrapes your elbow.

They want to quickly dig themselves out of hole they've been digging all those years(year after year of modern military setting) while trying to avoid getting future titles being the default fall guy for real life shootings.

Several years ago courting controversy would play nicely into Activision's hand but now its far too risky when shootings seems to have a season of its own in real life. Not to mention that stiff competitions are popping out in droves for next gen.
