DSOGaming: "And the time has finally come. Battlefield 4's beta phase is a go, though it's limited to a select few, and the first gameplay footage has emerged, showing a player killing a pilot and stealing his/her chopper."
If that guy had a PS4 recording that epic moment would be a sure thing. But then again he wouldn't be able to play it in 1080p and very high settings. Good thing his FRAPs was on.
EPIC BATTLEFIELD MOMENT!! this is exactly why cod will never compare to bf games, because every single match of bf is different and so dynamic, where as in cod its just the same stale, killstreak, auto aim assist and camping abuse in every match, cod no longer has a learning curve, its just a kids game, battlefield on the other hand is pure epic!
But playing battlefield alone is just not fun, getting stomped on by a organised squad and getting spawn trapped due to retarded team mates, in cod on the other hand playing alone, lone wolf is fine, this is why allot of cod fans dont enjoy bf games, they try to lone wolf and then get owned, and wonder why they suddenly cant shoot for shit or own the enemy team, in bf games its all about team work!!!
I thought this was supposed to be a realistic shooter. Congrats on the bullet drop technology, but why do people say the Battlefield series is more realistic than CoD if you can jump off a building, parachute to a flying helicopter, and then suddenly be teleported into the pilots seat and fly away? Might as well have everyone firing laser guns.
So I'm just gonna assume you looked at my comment, perceived it as being negative, and went all Battlefield defensive. I wasn't arguing whether it's fun or not, I'm just wondering why people think the Battlefield series is realistic. If you can jump from one flying vehicle to the next (and there are several jet hijack vids on YouTube), how is it realistic? It makes the Halo series look like a documentary on space exploration. I just hate when games try to sell you on realism, and then go all Michael Bay on the consumer.
so you would rather use Kinect to open the hatch and get inside the cockpit? or are you just upset that a kill streak wasn't required to get into a hovering chopper?
And also I'm a Sony fanboy who doesn't play CoD so none of what you said applies. Also, you didn't actually answer my question. Looks like blind rage controlled your typing.
Realistic? Since when was any game in the Battlefield series realistic. It's all about gratuitous and and over the top combat (at least it's still grounded in reality)
I've got a couple videos of BF4 beta footage up as well. Nothing as epic as this but still shows a bit of how the gameplay unfolds on Siege of Shanghai.
Wow...that was pretty cool. To bad I couldn't probably pull that off to save my life hahaha....
I hope they fix the low frame rates, bf3 runs like 60fps on max and bf4 runs sub-30 fps on max :S

So much for PC's being so powerful. Looks just like PS4.
FUUUU! I´m on school atm, and after school I gotta go to work :(
