Man another game to keep and eye out for. Now lets make sure the story makes some sense would be great, as FF13 was just bla. I might give this a rent before buying for sure.

Game looks good, but the story... After what they did with XIII-2, my expectations for the story are at an all time low.

Battle system looks awesome tho.

I never played X-2, as I have gotten some feedback that while better than 13 it was still really bad story. I miss the days of a decent plot in a FF game. I am also one of the few who enjoyed FF12.

Boooo! Where are the skimpy outfits?! That's what I want to see. There is not enough skin in this video.

I'll buy it though.

Looks too easy, hopefully has an increased difficulty mode

It's the start of the game. Of course it's going to look easy.

And there's a super hard mode unlocked when you finish it apparently

why do i have to play the whole game on easy mode to unlock hard mode? That's stupid.... I much rather play 1 time on hard....

Em, alright. You're being a little bit presumptuous. First of all you're panning the game's difficulty based on the opening section. When has that ever been fair, in any game?

Secondly then, how do you know it doesn't get harder after this? This is obviously more of a tutorial stage in the game. By extension, how are you so sure that you'd even be able to manage hard mode on your first attempt? Perhaps it would be wise to play easy mode first (well, it's probably called normal mode, not easy mode) especially since, owing to your own inexperience with the game, hard mode might cause you to quit early on. Plus, the game is supposed to have a lot of replay value, so not only will you have the required experience to take on hard mode, but you'll also be able to look forward to new stuff you didn't experience the first time around.

I think there's a reason SE didn't make hard mode immediately accessable. I mean obviously they want people to play the game fully and have proper grounds on which to criticise (or praise) everything about it, but also, the game has been compared to Dark Souls (maybe not as hardcore), so perhaps a sort of trial run through it is necessary.

If i want to play the game on ULTRA HARD MODE i should be able to. Normal to you may be too easy for me. I prefer a challenge, fighting a boss for 30 minutes isn't challenging. Fighting a boss that has a faster attack animations would be. From EVERY gameplay video i've seen all enemies move like turtles. so regardless of how much HP they can take/deal the game looks rather easy bc of that. hopefully the game has a mode that suits my taste and well as your right out off the bat otherwise i will not torture myself by playing it through easy and than hard..... i dont have that kind of life to waste.

I can't think of ANY games that come out now that allow you to play on its hardest difficulty without beating it on a lower difficulty first.

And as others have stated, it's the beginning of the damn game.

Stop making up stuff to complain about.

you should agree and say yea i hope its difficult and allows the option to play normal hard and easy. assuming hard is actually hard... u never know anymore with FF games.

FYI - I;ve seen gameplay for later levels as well and it changes nothing. enemies move slow looks rather easy.

however i hope im wrong bc every other aspect looks great.
