2006-2009: The Dark Age of the Sonic Series and How it Ended

The blue blur went through some tough times, and a dark air has lingered around the franchise – which is only now starting to lift. (Culture, Sonic Colors, Sonic Generations, Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic: Lost World)

I don't think that's fair tbh Sonic games were alright on consoles until 05 when shadow came out and the handheld games were always good until sonic generations on 3ds.

Sonic 2006 was rushed everything else after that was solid nothing too fancy but those were fun games.

Sonic 06 sucked. Thats about it. Everything else was solid. People like to over exaggerate things.

Unleashed was ass, and so was the "storybook" series

There hasn't been a dark point when it comes to Sonic for me. Sonic 06 had problems yes, but people just jumped on the band wagon, there have been plenty of people that have given it try and have said it wasn't as bad as people made out.

Another thing that bugs me is when people talk about Shadow the Hedgehog and moan because it's not like a Sonic game...........are these people stupid ? IT'S NOT A SONIC GAME. Just because Shadow appears in Sonic games it doesn't mean his own spin off game should be like Sonic.

Sonic games are slightly better now but i would have had no problem if they had stayed the same way. People often complain about them being glitchy, it's funny that the same people that complain about the so called glitchyness of Sonic games are also crap at Sonic games. What the real problem is, is that people can't get used to the games because they suck at them and then take the easy way out and say it glitches on them. Every game has glitching problems, i haven't come across a game yet that hasn't.
