The game promises to be a classic style turn based RPG that is reminiscent of the Final Fantasy VII era, likely no coincidence that the developers are named Midgar Studio, with the city of Midgar being centre stage in Final Fantasy VII its self.
“VR is something we really like then we added support for Oculus Rift!” said the development team, although this one sounds completely ridiculous given the multi-format save game support and play style.
“Edge Of Eternity will be one of the first AAA mobile games : redefining the technical limits of mobile platforms with stunning graphics and featuring an amazing story with more than 20 hours of gameplay for the main quest.” again, another tall order and wild claim, lets hope the developers can get their heads out of the clouds and make a modern RPG title worthy of a studio that calls it’s self after one of the most famous cities in RPG gaming history.

Electronic Arts has confirmed that while F1 23 will support PC VR it will not support PSVR 2 on PlayStation 5.
That's fine. GT7 would overshadow it anyway at it has open wheel and regular cars.
Should have been spending their time updating Squadrons with better resolution, frame rate, haptics, etc as there isn't a game like that on PS VR 2 yet.
But it's EA. They don't think.
A wasted opportunity, but I don't buy EA / Codemasters stuff anyway. Grid Legends just came out on Plus and I haven't touched it. Why would I when I have GT7 and PSVR2?
That's where opportunity presents itself that they could offer something else that other developers haven't offered yet. Yeah. There's No Man's Sky. But a space game with a story would be great. Like the old days with Colony Wars.
Exactly, they could have possibly lured more players just from the inclusion of a vr mode.
I miss Colony wars and G-Police, Low-Fi I hope will scratch that itch when it releases. We also need a vr War/Starhawk game.
I was really excited for this kickstarter because it was getting built up as this big thing. Then I watched the Kickstarter video and wow they should have just stuck to concept art. Also, I didn't realize this was a mobile game, it's still early so hopefully they show some more content that wows people.
I do like the idea of the game, but right now I am just not willing to invest.
Agreed cleft. I was particularly turned off by the story. It didn't seem innovative to me at all...
