1UP previews: "Enemy Territory: Quake Wars (ETQW) will find a very saturated console shooter market when it releases. Titles like Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and Halo 3 own a significant market share of the 360 online community, forcing ETQW to provide an experience that is both fun and different in order to draw players away.
Part of the challenge for ETQW is that at first glance it might seem derivative. Players with extensive console shooter experience can probably link every element in it to another game already on the market. But this line of thinking would be both a mistake and a disservice to the team behind ETQW, as they developed the successful Enemy Territory multiplayer for Return to Castle Wolfenstein years ago. Still, while they may have created a popular mode for a multiplayer shooter, there are still many elements in the game that are similar to other titles. Let's take a look at why ETQW might be different in all the right ways for you".
