It has been recently confirmed from an official statement that Battlefield 4 multiplayer save states for current gen consoles can be transferred to next-gen consoles.
Sweet! So when I eventually get a PS4 I can keep my progress.
Yeah it's a pretty cool feature actually. Glad they did this.
Well it's not really a save, for every MP game the stats and ranks are saved online and tied to a profile anyway :)
That's very true, thanks for pointing it out for me! :)
Unfortunately not ubisoft and uplay, had a corrupt game save and guess what all online data gone....
It was the same deal with Red Dead. Why on earth would you store MP progress locally? It seems like a no-brainer to me :P
That`s not smart to store MP data local as it`s less secure because like in your case it can get corrupted or it can be easier hacked compared to having all of it recorded on the server side.
lol to be honst who is so stupid and play such a game on curr gen!!! hahaha i can wait to have the full experience ps4 fwd <3
"Yes, at launch of the next-gen consoles, you will be able to bring your multiplayer progress from current-gen to next-gen with you – your rank, score, K/D ratio, wins, time played and more. The stats transfer works from PS3 to PS4 and Xbox 360 to Xbox One." Will be able to switch back and forth from current gen to next gen, or is it a one time allowable transfer?
That's an excellent question and, unfortunately, one not answered at this time. I'll definitely look into that and see if I can write a follow-up article. Thanks for the inquiry!
I'm gonna play the hell out of the beta and wait for the ps4 version.
