The Evil Within – Extended Gameplay Video

Bethesda:

Following the EuroGamer Expo livestream from yesterday, today we have released an extended gameplay video for The Evil Within. Developed by Shinji Mikami and the talented team at Tango Gameworks, The Evil Within embodies the meaning of pure survival horror. (PC, PS3, PS4, The Evil Within, Xbox 360, Xbox One)

could very well be current gen.
survival horror , if done correctly shouldnt be as demanding in terms of hardware.
its more art than AA,polygon count or particle effect.
good lighting and decent textures are more preferable.which are comparatively easier to achieve.

DIRECTOR'S GENIUS AND ART GET EVERYTHING ELSE DONE

I'm glad to see that moving actually has a significant effect on accuracy with a ranged weapon and they took carried over notes from The Thing/REmake in terms of burning the enemies to destroy them. Will it continue the route and make enemies twice as lethal when they revive is what remains to be seen but I sure hope they do.....

Game looks like it'll be amazing, and go back to what survival horror is about. I just wish the engine was upgraded to really exploit the next gen consoles power. It looks inbetween current and next gen at best.
