They better make the Kara game. It will elevate them to the next level. So much emotion and character development in a 7 minute video. Would be bummed out if I don't see how her story plays out.

And what game would that be? Kara escaping the factory? Learning how to integrate herself into a culture likely hostile towards her which she knows next to nothing about? Someone trying to find her and others possibly like her who she managed to find and helped her do the other two?

That demo represented lots of options.

The beautiful thing about QD. After HR it really didn't matter what they had planned, there products are so fresh in this industry, I consider then one of my fav developers in gaming. Looking at the HR demo it was an audition, and looked what blossomed. So don't read into there demos cause you'd be blindsided by what they give you. Blindsided in a good way lol.....

a game where u play as Kara getting out of the factory..integrating into society..the game would span hundreds, maybe even thousands of years...you could see how earth would look through decades and centuries through the eyes of a robot...oh wait, thats A.I. lol

I forgot all about the casting. Memories. Time flies. Makes me feel old.

My wife(non gamer) said "You don't wanna know what I'd do for that to become an actual game!"

I still can't believe it's seven minutes long. I'm pretty good at gauging time, but all sense of it was gone while watching that tech demo. I was truly entranced, which doesn't happen often.

I would seriously love to watch or play more of Kara's story.

Naughty Dog X Quantic Dream would probably blows our mind on the PS4.

I have so much respect for David Cage. Love his work and cannot wait for Beyond. It is possible that you have to be an "older" gamer to understand. Not sure heavy Rain would make sense to someone who doesn't have children, at least not in the same way.

No kids here, but Heavy Rain is my favorite game. I imagine it's even more emotional if you do have kids. After playing that Beyond demo, it's possible that Cage may have outdone himself. The writing, acting, and production values seem even better in this one.

I wouldn't say that you have to have children. But, I would say that you would have to be in a more mature mindset. Maybe at the point where you are considering that part of your life that involves having a family. Ultimately, though, I think that being there just heightens the emotional connection with the game.

People keep saying "it's just a tech demo", but Cage and Quantic Dream outdo their tech demos every time. Those who have played Beyond will know.

Towards the end David mentions giving us gamers what we don't know we want and you definitely seem satisfied with their work so QD are doing their job right ;)
I've yet to play HR but am ecstatic about Beyond coming out. Can't wait, loved the demo. Graphically, game is beautiful.
