Top 5 Things You Need to Know About Killzone: Mercenary

There is a well-known rule among gamers when it comes to shooters on handheld devices. It goes something like: “they have bad controls.” And, for the better part of 20 years, that overgeneralization has pretty much held true. Even with the Vita, we’ve seen a subpar showing from both a Resistance title and an Uncharted title. They feel choppy and tough. Your hand feels mangled after less than an hour of play and you feel like you never fully achieved the precision that’s necessary to excel at a shooter. (Killzone Mercenary, PS Vita)

one of the first things is that it is almost PS3 fidelity running on a handheld. Vita is really something special.

i hate when people say its "one of the best handheld fps ever made"
when the game by far is THE BEST FPS ON A HANDHELD EVER.

Agreed. Its the best shooter on a handheld, phone, tablet, Wii U, Ever. I just don't like it when reviewers take off points because its not on par with the console version.

I KNOW! He just has to freaking shoot some to feel important. I just see who hw's about to shoot and kill him first before he can ( he is incapable of headshots)

On the way to platinum.. only 1 trophy left which is the 10000 kills. Im just a little beyond halfway and it's already driving me nuts

Nice and good luck to you!

I have that and the 100 MP matches left although I only need 15 more or so. I do have 9500 kills though :)

I picked up Killzone Mercenary and have been blown away by just about everything. It really is damn close to a PS3 game. The voice acting is weak and the story is OK, but the controls and the multiplayer are really good.
