There is a well-known rule among gamers when it comes to shooters on handheld devices. It goes something like: “they have bad controls.” And, for the better part of 20 years, that overgeneralization has pretty much held true. Even with the Vita, we’ve seen a subpar showing from both a Resistance title and an Uncharted title. They feel choppy and tough. Your hand feels mangled after less than an hour of play and you feel like you never fully achieved the precision that’s necessary to excel at a shooter.
