FIFA 14 (PS3) Review -- PSNation

Is FIFA 14 a fitting way to round off this generation of sports titles? Or has EA Vancouver finally lost its crown? (FIFA 14, PC, PS3, Xbox 360) 9.5/10

"At this point in the generation, that’s completely understandable – it’s not exactly a bad looking game, so why invest the resources now."
Maybe because they have earned enough profits from the previous version to make a new one rather than giving us the same game on a new cd case. They wont need to make more changes for fifa 15 if they keep getting such highly praised reviews.

Companies made this same argument back in 2008 though.

It is a shame that such a game would get a high score with only minor changes from previous release. Welcome to the new FIFA 13.1 (not even a 13.5).

The new fans milking franchise behind COD.

If a game is really good and minor improvements are made, why should the score go down? It's as good/even better than before.

Also, the review is more than just a score. That text people scroll past to find the score, yeah strangely that justifies why the reviewer came to that end result. I know, shocking.
