Remote Play on PS4 / PS Vita is Lag-free as shown in this video

The remote play on PS4 / PS Vita seems to be lag-free as you can see in this video. Knack is being played on the PS Vita via remote play and you can see it simultaneuously on PS4. (Knack, PS Vita, PS4)

Powerful. Just, powerful! I can't wait to try it myself!
GiggMan  +   607d ago
Powerful is correct indeed considering that remote play is a hardware "thing". It has never crossed my mind to get a Vita but I'm glad my son has one. Can't wait to try out remote play for myself.

Look what Shu Yoshida says about remote play with Knack on twitter
https://twitter.com/yosp/st...

if this ends up being true for knack and other games, it will be so awesome.
Cryptcuzz  +   606d ago
IMO that is a killer feature to have and be able to do.

Can't wait to try this for myself very soon on Nov 15th.

The brothers and friends usually have our own little tourney going on at my place with fighting games like SF 4: AE. No longer will my turn be skipped when needing to sit on the can and relieve myself LOL.

Even though this is about Knack (which I am getting on launch, among at least one or two other games) I could see this being able to do with a lot of two or more player games.

haha =) yeah, it's a pretty good feature.

apparently you can do this with Vita TV, that would mean no more split-screen =D

1 PS4 + 1 Vita TV + 2 TV screens = 2 people playing multiplayer on 2 TV's

Yeah its a pretty sweet feature that I will certainly enjoy and find very useful.

With the vita being able to remote play and use as a second screen for remote play on the same PS4 for co-op games and I assume two player local gameplay gives me the impression of many useful ideas that my imagination is optimistic of a bright future for the PS4, Vita and my gaming needs.

I don't think anyone can argue with that, proof in a clear video should be enough to quiet any doubters.

Awesome technology. I might have to pick up a Vita after all.

To be fair this IS in Japan with their amazing Internet speeds. But yes it's a good indication that with the right bandwidth you it'll be a great feature.
Sam Fisher  +   607d ago
I was thinking about the bandwidth or is it just the cpu? B/c you can have the ps3 private connection and no point on bandwidth but still has some lag
Gamingcapacity  +   607d ago
I don't think this is anything to do with internet speeds. This is remote play through your WiFi home network.
AznGaara  +   607d ago
@Gamingcapacity

It does once you do remote play outside the house.
GribbleGrunger  +   607d ago
What are you on about? Remote play has nothing to do with the internet. You can remote play through the internet but this is 'local' remote play that doesn't require the internet. The PS4 has Gaikai tech built in.

goodbye wiiU gamepad
Ac7iVe  +   607d ago
Wii u $300...ps4 $400 plus $200 for vita to have remote play....Wii U winner..$300 or $600 lol I pick $300
FITgamer  +   607d ago
Yeah if you only like playing kids games and shitty 3rd party ports it's a better deal.
Ac7iVe  +   607d ago
Darksiders, cod, assassins creed, zombi u , splintercell, mass effect, batman are all kiddy games? Nice try bro lol first person shooters don't make u mature or hardcore. I am a Nintendo fan boy but I enjoy all gaming platforms, I have owned every system to date.
ShwankyShpanky  +   607d ago
But most of those can be played on a PS3 or 360... both of which have $200 models.
xxPillsxx  +   607d ago
Someone is being dumb here
Wii U $300 only playable via Wii U gamepad and only in range
PS4 + PS Vita can play on PS4 normally AND on the go with PS Vita lag-free anywhere with WIFI
Plus PS Vita has it's own games and things too.
