Final Fantasy XIV Sales Surge, Monster Hunter 4 Still Dominates Japan on Major Retailer's Charts

As every Monday, the major Japanese retailer Tsutaya released its weekly sales charts, that are normally considered a good indication of what will be apparent on Wednesday with the Media Create charts due to the fact that Tsutaya has a very high number of shops scattered across the country. (3DS, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, Monster Hunter 4, PS Vita, PS3, PSP)

PlayStation brand is on fire in Japan for some time..

Surprised Killzone Mercs is still in the top 20.

Really hope PS4/Vita tv reignites the console business in Japan. TGS was depressing as hell, the fact that a mobile company like GREE had one of the biggest booths rivaling Sony's is just sad.

Highlights of TGS in my opinion were.

-Gravity Rush 2
-Deep Down
-PS4 streaming confirmed to be near lagless

GREE have had massive booths for like the last 2 - 3 years at least... its crazy how big they are but this year it actually didnt seem as much of a spectacle as it was the year before (from what I remember.
