US Gamer - Are you enjoying GTA V's story and listening to everything the characters have to say? Or are you only interested in the action?
GTA is always more about the open world than about the characters. The whole stereotypical role they play in the story lacks depth and emotion that one simply can't create towards them. From all the GTA games the one lead character I love is Tommy from Vice City.
I really like all three of them in their own way. I'd take any of them over Niko personally lol.
Yeah Niko was awful...it was a shame to see so many references towards GTA4 characters in GTA5. Not one nod to any old character in the series...I know I know the old universe is seperate to the HD one but still. I think Niko's accent is what annoyed me the most. He was so bland.
I LOVE Trevor, more then the other two. To be honest, despite not minding the three characters I still want them to go back to the one in GTA6. Seriously I could of played the entire game with just Trevor, he was hilarious and his sense of humour and personality is what I expect to find in a GTA game. Michael and Franklin just seemed like characters we have already seen before...Tommy and CJ basically
Ah hell no you don't like the characters because they talk like *** **** **** **** *****? **** man **** **** bro.
Just started playing now. Heard the first easter egg. "Show me the money"- from jerry mcguire.
I honestly like all three characters and have enjoyed each of their stories and how they interact together. They take the same generic style of character, but give them their own personality. Even Trevor catches me by surprise sometimes because he does have feelings and it shows, he is just a little crazy.
