Think of GTAO as an extension of GTA V because you cannot run GTAO without the retail copy of GTA V. Players can invest their time in character customizations, stat leveling, owning customized vehicles, purchasing personal property, taking on missions, earning reputation points and cash, all to raise up in the criminal ranks.
