The Same Coin take a look at Konami's latest version of PES 2014

From the moment PES 2014 starts and you are met with the sounds of Nessun Dorma, you know this wants to be a serious football game, but after several missteps in recent years it’ll take more than using a bit of Pavarotti to evoke a generations memories of the summer of 1990 to get Konami’s series back on track.

PES 2014 is easily the biggest revolution of the series since it evolved out of International Superstar Soccer way back in 2001. Whilst its biggest rival FIFA has gone from strength to strength in recent years PES has seemingly stood still, this year Konami are out to address that with a series of new features aimed at making this the beginning of a new era. (PC, PES 2014, PS3, Xbox 360) -
