Metal Gear Solid V TGS 2013 Demo Showing at Microsoft Booth

Ken-ichiro Imaizumi has confirmed that the new Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain gameplay footage, for the prologue chapter Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes, that'll be shown at Hideo Kojima at TGS 2013, will also shown at the Microsoft Xbox Live Station and it'll run for forty minutes.

The Xbox gameplay footage will be shown on 21st September 2013 at 15:30 PM JST (11:30 AM PST / 2:30 PM EST / 7:30 AM GMT / 8:30 AM CET). Although he didn't say whether the demo will be shown on the Xbox 360 or the Xbox One. It doesn't seem to be getting a live steam either. Pity!

We already know that Hideo Kojima will be showing the new Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain gameplay footage at the Sony booth during TGS 2013, and Ken-ichiro Imaizumi also confirmed that each of the demos will be different.

The PS4 demo presentations will each take half an hour, and will take place on 19th September 2013 at 13:00 PM JST (9:00 PM PST / 12:00 AM EST / 5:00 AM GMT / 6:00 AM CET) and 21st September 2013 at 12:30 PM JST (8:30 PM PST / 11:30 PM EST / 4:30 AM GMT / 5:30 AM CET). They will also be broadcast by Nico Nico (19th September 2013 and 21st September 2013).

What's with the change of heart ?. PS fans always supported MGS . I know it's a marketing thing but it feels like they abandon the fans for sales. That's why hype is less then before.

Anyway , really looking forward for the game ^^ .

TheOneWhoIsTornApart1768d ago

They need the sales because of the enormous production value and cost of the game so I can understand why they went multi platform and it doesn't bother me one bit. I will be getting it on the PS3 and PS4 though.

Will it be live streamed ? if so where ? I don't want to wait for 2 days later.

fsfsxii1768d ago

Or because Kojima blew the budget on Keither Sutherland's voice.

The rations are gone too.

Salooh1768d ago (Edited 1768d ago )

I don't mind if they go to ms conference one or two times but all the time?.. makes me feel like he doesn't care anymore , it feels sooo weird when i see mgs in xbox conference . It just feels wrong...

Irishguy951768d ago (Edited 1768d ago )

Get over it, so what if it 'feels' wrong. Deal with it, a good game is a good game. Pathetic still seeing this crap in this day and age.

And hopefully he isn't stupid enough to care about people who care more about a system than the game itself. You are getting MGS5, that is all that matters. Geez

PS fanboy "Kojima why are you focusing on Xbox??"
Kojima "Because I want to get teh xbox crowd too"
PS fanboy "But MGS is a PS game!"
Kojima "Yeah you're still getting it.."
PS fanboy "'s a Ps game!
Kojima ""
PS fanboy " I don't want to share it :( "

This is how stupid multiplat complainers are to me. I hope Kojima feels the same.

mewhy321768d ago

I don't mind that it releases on other platforms as long as it doesn't fall victim to the lowest common denominator syndrome of most multi console releases. The inferior hardware of the bone could end up holding back the PS4 games potential. Let's just hope that they fully utilize the power of the PS4's superior hardware and not let the bone hold it back.

Irishguy951768d ago (Edited 1768d ago )

Pff please, how do you think PC gamers feel? Consoles are literally limiters on games advancing until the next gen console is released. It may affect you because you want a ps4, however if you actually care about it you'd get a PC instead of supporting limitations at all. Just another person looking for something to complain about your enemy console. XBox holding back Ps4 'slightly'. Consoles holding back PC starting with slightly and ending up 'severly' until the cycle repeats

Yes exactly 14Feb. Stop complaining about little things when you yourself are supporting this limitation to suit your own needs. The complaints you see sometimes can be so petty and hypocritical.

Salooh1768d ago (Edited 1768d ago )

How do you do that ?. By sticking with the fans. A lot of developers when they have a new audience they change too much. That's what i'm afraid of for MGS . It feels like he's taking feed back from people who don't play MGS . I don't mind sharing it but stick with the fans , best example is dark soul . The developers still hear it's fans. It's still for hardcore . That's how it should work. A lot of MGS fans don't watch MS conference. So how the hell would they know about it or watch the videos.

I'm with you on everything but i still don't support pc because it doesn't have exclusives that i'm interested in . PS provide that. If pc get as good as them i would buy a pc today . But all pc games that i were interested in are in consoles now. Paying another 600$ ( If i want a gaming pc i wouldn't pay less then that) for just multiplatforms isn't worth it for me.

hazardman1768d ago

@ irish,

That was funny...
funny thing is that MGS was not a PS game. My first MG experience was on NES. So they need to cut that shit it out!

christocolus1768d ago

@irish guy
Lmao at your comment abt .lol

Tito081768d ago (Edited 1768d ago )

@hazardman-The keyword is MGS, not MG, just because there was a PC version does not mean it was not foremost a PS game. Your first MG experience happened to be on a gimped version of the original game which missed a lot of content, even the Mech, replaced by a giant computer screen, a game Kojima did not work on, and that he trully doesn't like, and PS2 received the two original MSX games in MGS3:S. What a "first experience" you had Hazard.

Kojima does not have too much affiliation with Nintendo other than he worked on Boktai, a GBA game, and a pretty good game too.

ShinMaster1768d ago (Edited 1768d ago )

They're showing the game at BOTH booths.

Benchm4rk1767d ago

Same could be said for seeing Bungie on Sony's stage at E3 and everything seen about Destiny is shown on PS4. The main thing is its still multiplatform. Everyone gets to enjoy them now.

"abandon the fans for sales"

Yeah a companies number one goal is to make as much money as possible. Companies cannot pay staff and bills by going to N4G and reading some comments about how great a company is becuase they are exclusive to one console.

Also if Sony really cared about its PS fans like you they would have wrote Konami a big fat check to keep MGS on the Playstaion only but we all know Sony is not evil like MS and never pays for DLC or for a 3rd party game to be exclusive.

mattyblog1768d ago

Yeah the demo will be shown on PS4 first on 19th and 21st September, then a few hours later on 21st at Micrsoft's booth.

nypifisel1768d ago

Lol what's the point of this article then...

Cuzzo631768d ago (Edited 1768d ago )

How are they abandoning fans. Its still on Sony consoles..... Ps fans, myself included will always support MGS. Come on guys, quit it.

For every exclusive that goes unexclusive, tjere will be another exclusive to take its place. Dont faze me at all that its multiplat. Means they can continue to keep making great games.

ZHZ901768d ago (Edited 1768d ago )

I am still getting it on PS4 and wouldn't mind for it to be multiplat but I want to see what does MGSV on PS4 that's what I care.

On the note about "abandoning fans", no they aren't it's still on PS3 and PS4.

Tito081768d ago (Edited 1768d ago )

I don't mind the game being multiplat as long as it's good, I admit I didn't like the idea of some past exclusives going multiplat, it already grew on me, because for us it's just a hobby, but for Kojima & Konami, it's a business, and development cost are too high these days they have to support other platforms, either way, since it.proves more popular on PS consoles, it'll sell more on them anyways.

shaft01401768d ago

Kojima wants Metal Gear V to have a greater appeal to a global audience and the Western gaming market is very much associated with XBOX.

Plus multiplatform = more $$$ for the company.

That's my theory, at least.

quenomamen1768d ago

You'de be surprised at what a check with a bunch if zeros can do, also will these be running on Xbone dev kits ( PCs with $300 video cards ) ? I wonder.

tordavis1768d ago

If you're at TGS and want to PLAY THE GAME, go to the booth where you can play it. Does it matter which system it's being demoed on? Oo

CoLD FiRE1768d ago

Really? It's business. That's why! You don't see Halo fans complaining because Bungie showed Destiny on Sony's conferences.

Regis1768d ago

Rather i'm glad they did go with sony I think they were held back by microsoft to create a different game other than Halo

CoLD FiRE1767d ago (Edited 1767d ago )

@Regis They didn't go with Sony. They went with Activision and are going to release their games on both Microsoft and Sony platforms.

Tito081767d ago

That's true, but that's because Destiny isn't Halo, if it was Halo, total different story of course, but Destiny started fully as a multiplat, so nobody has nothing to say against it.

corvusmd1767d ago (Edited 1767d ago )

Uh, it was originally a Nintendo game...and it's been on Xbox quite a few times already....why do PS fans think that it's theirs?

Tito081764d ago (Edited 1764d ago )

Nope, METAL GEAR was originally a MSX game, the NES game was a rip-off missing content from the original game, even the Metal Gear mech itself, which is what the title stands for, that led to the abysmal SNAKE`S REVENGE, games Kojima didn't work on, and prompted him to make METAL GEAR 2 for the MSX2, which never saw release on the NES, neither released in the US until MGS3:Subsistence for PS2. As for METAL GEAR SOLID, the beginning of the 3D games, is originally a PS game following the events of the MSX games, learn how to do research partner.

THamm1768d ago

I think the hype is greater. The more footage, the merrier

GrandpaSnake1768d ago

hell yeah blow this up kojima, metal gear online needs to sweep the nation.

Sadist31768d ago

They went multi platform because it makes sense to do so. They have to make money, y'know. They are a company, and companies are out to make money. News flash for you idiots that think companies care about fans. They care about that fan money, that's it.

theoriginaldon1768d ago

cant wait for mgo3 xD and the game I don't know what ill be hitting up first lol I hope the la studio don't take out stealth team sneaking (tsne) and im sure they will have rescue..
