MH4: 1.875m 3DS: 298k 2 days' worth of sales.
I wasnt expecting otherwise its meth for Japanese gamers.
and not just for the Japanese either, I can't wait to get my hands on a copy, I just hope they bring it to western territories soon.
That's kind of crazy, but then again it is MH in Japan. I wonder how the X/Y launch is going to do there.
Probably the same amount if not better.
This just proves that Nintendo is irrelevant and gets no 3rd party support...... oh wait.
3DS reaching god tier towards X and Y. This is insane.
thats a lot in 2 days
298k in 2 days? Didn't know that was even possible!
Monster Hunter is Japan's GTA.
GTA is America's Monster Hunter :)
Wonder if we'll see another 42:1 week ever again.
My prediction: 298 3DS Vita : 6k Anyways,I don't think there was a whole lot Sony could do about this massacre of Monster Hunter 4.
That's nearly 50:1. That'd be epic!
Ur one of those -__________________- idiot
I'm lost, am I supposed to fill in the blanks?
Can I ask a question? Are these monster hunter games that good... I was contemplating getting a 3DS for my son he is 7...Is it worth the buy?
It takes skills to play a Monster Hunter game. It is not a typically Your Pokemon Gameplay . If Your Son is matured enough to paly games like this, He Would surely love it. Monster Hunter is undeniably the best Monster Hunting game.
They are a nice mix of heavy grind to get good gear but the grind is actually great combat and deep resource gathering. Monsters you hunt have no fight patterns and they don't care who is doing the most damage to them, they may turn around and attack you rather than your team mates for no reason at all. So fights are pretty varied even when you fight the same monster over and over. 4 sounds interesting as they have removed the underwater combat which was a little annoying in Tri and Ultimate. EDIT: considering he's 7 it might not be the best game for him (in previous games you can turn blood off if that concerns you), I guess it depends how good he is with games in general, how do you think he can handle a game like devil may cry, i guess in terms of reflexes and skill etc its fair to compare monster hunter to that game.
I think it's little advanced and probably complicated for him and he might be frustrated with the relative difficulty of combat, I have a 7 year old son and I buy Monster Hunter games for myself and Pokemon games for both of us (I am 34!). A 3DS for your son is nearly a must!! but Monster Hunter, may be after few years.
Thanks for the info...Its going to be a Christmas present with some games...the 3DS is cheap right now..
wow... thats... wow...
Mighty impressive. You would think by now everyone in Japan has a 3DS but I guess new kids are born every day lol. Monster Hunter never fails to sell well. Be nice if they hurried up with a NA release. I'd kill someone for a Wii U version also.
