The most controversial video game franchise in the world is back – and it’s stealing the hearts of critics all over again.
Too bad it's attracted plenty of people thinking it's smart and cool to hate on a mainstream game by making a sweeping generalisation that popularity is inversely proportional to quality. They'd be challenging that the game doesn't deserve the high 90s average it gets because "they could have added this and that, could have improved this and that, etc". Makes you kind of think how any game could ever score in the high 90s in the first place, considering anyone can think of ways to improve any game, basically. A 10/10 doesn't reflect perfection. These cool guys hate on it because they can't stand a massively popular game rating a few percentage points higher than their favourites. I rate TLOU and GTA V 10/10s myself, but I don't get butthurt because TLOU is 2% off on average.
Superior to Last of US, Bioshock and Tomb Raider/ Goty for me.
Give me GTA2 anyday...
