Capcom just announced with a press release that Monster Hunter 4 has already shipped over two million copies in Japan.
So far it's on par with Portable 3rd
with a way larger installed base, though.
I'm pretty sure the PSP had a larger install base by the time Portable 3rd came out.
you're actually quite right. I always forget how much the PSP sold in Japan
This and pokemon next month, the 3ds will catch on fire in Japan!!! Securing MH4 was probably the smartest thing Nintendo done in a while.
Hopefully this means an NA release.
I wished for a next gen experience of the Monster hunter franchise .. how long are they gonna rehash the same textures with just minor polishing and added content ? I'm not even talking about PS4 or Xbox1,I want a TRUE next gen Monster Hunter on the Wii U made from the ground up on it,not another portable or last gen game with added HD and outdated textures -_- ! Is that Too much to ask out of you ... Capcom !?
I can see where you're coming from, but I skipped the most recent monster hunter due to the lack of online on the 3ds. So I dunno, I'm in no hurry.
Poor Vita =(
Good 3DS games =/= no Vita games.
I'm pretty sure he meant 'sales'.
@PSNintyGamer My statement is still applicable since... Good/more games = More sales
We know how much of a Nintendo fanboy you are,so you don't need to be shy about it. Go full force.
A Nintendo Fanboy that has a PS3 and has a PS4 on preorder?!?hmmmmm makes you wonder huh?
It's gonna be tough waiting for this to come west. Oh well. *Goes back to playing MH3U*
Good to hear, capcom is literally knocking on the door of bankruptcy they need all the good news they can get.they're assholes for not giving me megaman but still hate to see these companies go out.
dont worry megaman gonna be with Nintendo if that happens
outdated handheld beating the PS vita? No way! GRaphIcs Rulez! Nintendont play that! They know games rule the day!
Awesome news and Capcom definitely needed this boost!
