GTA 5: Why The Heists Are Wasted Potential

NowGamer: "So our GTA 5 review is live and, as you can no doubt see, there’s a lot to love about it. You need to play it.

But one of the big features is the new heist missions, a culmination of the likes of Three Leaf Clover in GTA 4, The Job of GTA: Vice City or Breaking The Bank At Caligula’s in GTA: San Andreas.

Make no mistake, though, these heist missions are great. They’re over-the-top, they’re invigorating and in many cases they give you the freedom to approach it however you like.

Well, for the most part."

Why is it, that whenever a really HUGE game gets released, there are 267 articles about what's wrong with it???

People need to quit their bitching and learn to enjoy a game for what it is instead of worrying about what you wanted it to be.

It's ridiculous.

It never fails, we've seen it twice previously this year with Bioshock: Infinite and The Last of Us.

The_Infected1498d ago

Because its the media. They complain about everything.

Even the beatles white album has filler, to say Nothing is wrong, is a disservice to your readers. Bioshock had little gameplay variation, TLoU had intentionally clunky shooting controls, but some people didnt like that.

GTA for me in the past has had Terrible gamesaves to where you had to re drive 10 minutes just to watch the same cutscenes again b4 starting the mission. All are valid complaints

You're missing my point.

I'm not saying the game is perfect and nobody should criticize it.

I'm saying, that when a game is a big deal, and almost everyone universally loves it, and it gets great reviews, why do people feel the need to write articles with nothing but complaints??? It's not a "review", it's just a complaint article, that's it.

This guy continually says how great the missions were, but also feels the need to give his opinion on how they could have been better.

It's the same things with other top games. "The game is phenomenal, but I wish they'd have changed this."

It's just annoying. Write your review, give us the good and the bad, and then shut up.

Articles like this just reek of trolling for hits, to me.

I would click to see their nitpickings, but, well, these schemes don't deserve our hits.

Just downvoted for obvious reasons.

And yes, I have played the game and it is awesome, including the heists.

GTA Online has over 500 missions including heists.

GTA single player is just an introduction ;)

I haven't yet played online but if what you say is true, then hotdamn that's going to be awesome.

I felt the heist portions of the game were very well executed. My only complaint is there weren't more of them.
