Let’s get some interaction going on! If you had $1,000 to spend on anything gaming related, what would you buy?
Probably a Vita and some games for both that and Wii U. And a PS4 if I've $400 leftover.
Nice choice! I have several Vita titles on my list as well.
I have some Classics and a Vita game sitting in my account lol. I kind of owe it to myself to get one before either of the newer consoles.
I'd re-buy some of my favorite NES, SNES, N64, PS1 and GC games I've lost or foolishly traded/sold. Some of these I got through Virtual Console and PSN, but I still have the consoles and physical media is better for me.
I'd probably buy a gaming PC, pre-order a copy of TitanFall to see what all the hoopla' is all about! But...... my alto-ego would buy a PS4, reserve a PS Vita TV, and buy all platforms at least 1 new title! That's referring to PS3, PS4, and PS Vita.
Top of the Range Gaming rig with Twin Titan Gaming cards yeah .
I'd get pimen 3 and wonderful 101. Buy someone's preorder for the gamestop exclusive figure version of WW HD. Preorder Mario Kart 8. With the rest i'd finally get a ps3, uncharted 1-3, infamous 1 & 2, GOW 3, MGS 4, Shadow of colossus hd, GTA V and many more. I'll see where i stand after that and maybe upgrade to a 3ds xl
Vita TV if they ever put it here. Tales of Xillia Dragon's Crown Diablo 3 Splinter Cell blacklist or something?
ps4 with launch games, and them reserve some other games for 2014
some second hand 360's with copies of forza 4 and a some screens to make a tri screen setup.
If I can buy pc parts I would buy 500 $ worth parts and a ps4 with watch dogs with the other 500
I will buy a gtx 780 and ps4 :)
Same here, except the ps4 since its already paid for. I would grab 2 gtx780's and pay the difference.
Are PC gaming components allowed? Probably. If so, I would use about 400-500 of it on some parts, and then buy the games I've been wanting and lastly save some for the inevitable PC version of GTA V.
Yup, those are definitely allowed! Nice use of the money.
As PS4 is already paid for, wouldn't mind getting a Titan for my PC , my SLI duel GTX670's and a GTX 570 (for Phys X) are getting old now, all 3 have been overclocked to hell lol.
Seriously?I don't even have GTX on My Notebook.:( (Nvidia GeForce GT540M 1GB)
Xbox One,PS4 and 2 games.
Pretty much same idea. Games are cheap comparably and what would basically be "free" consoles would be great. If not that I'd upgrade my gfx card for my PC but not in a particular rush for that yet as what I have is still fine (sli) and putting off for next gen cards at least. $1k would make any gamer happy though no matter what they enjoy ;)
Nice to see someone getting both next-gen consoles, nice choice.
I like both next-gen consoles,But I can't buy both.First of all I am buying an Xbox One.And a few years down the road maybe a PS4.
RAIDMAX RX-630SS PSU AMD A4-4000 APU 2 x 4GB of the cheapest available 240-pin DDR3-1600 Dual Channel RAM ECS A75F2-A2(1.0) mobo Cheapest available AMD HD7770 with 1GB GDDR5 and.... a PS4
I sure hope that is not what you would put in a PC with $600 budget
NOPE lol thats a really cheap build the rest is to be spent on games...which games I don't know yet.
I would build a PC.
My ps4 stuff came at around 1400+ 14 ps4 games,1 controller. I can spend 1000+ every 6 months on gaming.
Wii u ww bundle along with 2 other games + ps4 with 3 games.
I am going on a gaming shopping spree in November. I am getting a PS4, an Xbox1, BF4, AC4, Wathcdogs, Killzone, Forza and Dead Rising 3.
PS4, PSVita and a bunch of games and preorders
2 Zelda Wii U bundles, keeping one sealed forever, and probably a Vita/PS3 and PS4
7.1 Surround Sound system and a 25" touch screen monitor for my PC. I guess the touch screen would be more for my Animation than gaming, but hey loopholes are loopholes.
I'll go for some games for my Vita (Killzone mercenary, Tearaway, Ys Memories of celceta, Rayman origins, rayman legends, borderlands 2 when it comes out, both final fantasy titles, the monster hunter psn game, both dissidia games). all that adds up to about $300 (prices are off the top of my head). After that i might go for a Nintendo 3Ds with some Mario and Zelda games, Pokemon Y/Z, Monster Hunter 3U and the super smash bros game. im not sure about the price of that but it should be around $400 or more depending on how many mario/zelda titles i go for. After that with whatever i have left i might import some japanese vita games like Phantasy Star Nova, mobile suit gundam seed destiny, the two Tales of games, and Mind Zero. Id have to learn japanese first though...
Hey maybe you could spend some leftover money on a Japanese translator and then your set!
That's what I was thinking but then I read the article and said it needed to be gaming related (well I guess a translator is gaming related)
We can make an exception because of the willingness to play a Japanese game ;)
Japanese 3ds consoles and Monster Hunter 4 copies so me and they friends can form the best hunting party ever.
Panic restaurant and bubble bobble 2 for the nes.
The PS4, Xbox One, a Gaming PC, Games for each of those systems and for my Wii U, a Three Musketeers case, a couple online points cards, some 3 Terrabyte hardrives, and the Oculus Rift...... Something tells me I went alittle over my budget....
Pokemon X 3DS system with Pokemon X, KH:DDD, MGS3 on 3DS, Zelda: OoT on 3DS, PS4 Killzone, camera, and controller bundle, and PS+.
I will spent it on STEAM and build an Ultimate Game Collection.
I think I'd buy every console ever made, and a few games for each - and setup an ultimate game cave in my basement where I can easily switch between consoles. How cool would that be...
