Earlier this week, Sony unveiled a brand-new piece of hardware at its pre-Tokyo Game Show press conference. That new device is called PS Vita TV and, as far as I'm concerned, is one of the most brilliant moves by the company in recent memory.
It also releases in time for God Eater 2 which for both is November 14th. It should sell even better considering Vita TV is so cheap and offers so much. Also with Vita Slim coming out as well I'm sure the Vita's sales in Japan will be at least 2 million by the end of the year. It's currently approximately at 1.8 million in Japan.:(
I wonder how many PS Vita´s (TV) got preordered before they got sold out in JP.
Also how would touchscreen and rear touchpad controls work when DS4 is introduced? They would use touchpad primarily as touchscreen and use a button to toggle touchpad as rear touchpad? I don't know...
Games have been given changes to work with the PS VITA TV except games that heavily rely on the touch screen. Such as Virtue's Last Reward. So in short, many games will work. Some won't.
At $100 it'll definitely do some business for Sony.
Eh. I suppose. This is one of those things I need to see in action in person, I guess.
