I really hope the gameplay is deep for this game. I have it pre ordered but I'm still on the fence about this game cause I don't want it to be just a bunch of QTE over and over again. Visually I'm not worried at all cause the game looks amazing. Probably the most visually stunning or definitely top three of all the next gen games so far.
isarai  +   366d ago
The whole QTE focus is kind of a turnoff, well a big turnoff for me
Bigpappy  +   365d ago
The QTE's are only for those special executions. You and play the whole game without using any of them. But everyone who plays this game will. When I played Wolverine I sure did, and had a lot of fun with it. That game only had about 30 execution. This game has over 100. I real don't see the down side.
Deadpoolio  +   365d ago
there is a huge difference between being able to actually play the game without them and the reality FACT that on harder difficulties they are still there it's just missing the button prompt meaning you need to actually remember the button from previous playthroughs or your screwed....Same theory as NG3 Razor's Edge they weren't removed, they just removed the actual button prompt forcing you to remember it IF you played the regular version
Bigpappy  +   365d ago
No, no deadpoolio. You we see or read completely different info. I know you will still have queues as to which buttons to press for executions. What I said, is that You DO NOT have to use the executions to kill ANY enemy. But using them and being successful at avoiding getting hit, gives you perk rewards.

QTE is not there to fight for you or make combat easier, it is for executions of beaten AI. You can just point at the AI and hit the kill button. That is not what this is, but is what a lot of people on this sight are trying to label this game as. It is a pure hack and slash game with QTE, FINISHING moves.
opinska  +   365d ago
they said it 1000 times, the QTE are optional...
xKugo  +   366d ago
I think it's cool that they're giving fans of the game a little taste of execution gameplay. Always great to see fans get involved in some way with the game. Would be really cool if they held a vote on potential executions moves and whichever garnered the most votes would be implemented into the game.
