Nintendo laughs when questioned about a remake of this strange Zelda game. What does it mean?
Enjoy games as the classics as they were, instead of demading a remake.. Game should be remembered for the experience that got you to love that game.. NOTHING can change that experience. Not HD graphics, not changing the control scheme or new technology..
You're right, that's what makes OOT so special for me. I go back and play it, and every detail, all the way down to the way the heart pieces shine, makes it complete nostalgia. The way it is, I wouldn't want it changed. Even Navi, saying "Hey listen" every 5 seconds adds to it. OT: I was thinking about Nintendo and their position on this generation. Why it wouldn't be the end of the world if they were to drop out of the console game. They are the most decorated, and successful game developers of all time. Nintendo releases nothing but quality. If they were to become a development/handheld company. We would get to see Zelda/Mario in PS4/XB1 graphics. That would be incredible.
Worst game in the series.....what's not funny about people expecting a remake? When a majority of people need a walkthrough to beat a game that means you failed at making the design simple and complex. Walkthroughs for side things is one thing but to beat the main goal and plot of the game is ridiculous, not even Demon/Dark Souls requires a walkthrough when you play except for side things. Having to reset the time limit every hour was also annoying and took away a lot from the game, even though progress was saved it was still annoying to run all the way back.
I beat Majora's mask when I was 10 years old. If it was too complex for you, scratch that off as opinion. I loved the game. Also, once you acquired the Goron's Mask, running back anywhere took about 30 seconds.
I didn't say I had a problem. I got annoyed after having to reset the clock every hour, couldn't goof around like I love to do in Zelda games in between dungeons without having to reset then run back, reset run back, stupid concept. Everyone I have ever talked too who has played it (forums and work/former school) ALWAYS had a problem with it.
"Everyone I have ever talked too who has played it (forums and work/former school) ALWAYS had a problem with it." ...I find that very, very hard to believe. Even if by some weird coincidence it WAS true, though, it doesn't change the fact that the overall consensus is overwhelmingly positive when it comes to this game.
He laughed in response to when a remake was being made for MM, as in "yeah, it will be a long time before that happens".
Wind Waker HD was to tide people over until the true next Zelda. They knew thay could remake Wind Waker with a smaller group of people while the large group is on the next Zelda.
WWHD was a once in a long time thing, they knew fans couldn't wait for a new Zelda so they did WWHD.
It will be a long time before a MMHD, based on the circumstances of WW
