New Video For Bugbear's "Next Car Game" Showcases Amazing Car Damage

DSOGaming writes: "Bugbear Entertainment has released a new 'behind the scenes' video for its Next Car Game, in which we get to see some test drive sessions of car damage modeling. As Bugbear noted, this is still a WIP footage, meaning that the final game could look even better. And in all honesty, Next Car Game's damage system looks as spectacular as BeamNG's tech videos, so kudos to Bugbear." (PC, PS4, The Next Car Game, Xbox One)

Always fun to watch cars get smashed in creative ways. But it seems like the wheels somehow make it through unscathed in most scenes. Coincidence? Or are the devs partial to the wheels? :)

If you go to 1:00 the wheels are pretty badly warped.

Why couldn't this be part of a game?? If done right it could be a lot of fun! Looks great

I thought this was part of bugbear's next game, called "Next Car Game". Or are you referring to the crazy car-crushing contraptions?

Hope they raise enough money to make a next gen console version!

Haha, Looks brilliant.

There's a real lack of car games with good physical damage. Most of them just have dents and the odd Body kit fall off.

This however, Looks Impressive!

i remember playing games like driver 3 and flatout i thought the damage system and vehicle physics was top notch. damn this game looks like fun, they needed to show an epic rollover.

Driv3r was the most awesome game back in the day. Especially playing that wanted mode where the cops go crazy trying to ram into you. Did you ever play Crashday, it was similar to Flatout but more focused on demolition?
Hazmat13  +   348d ago
i have not, ill have to look into that. i love the wanted mode, cops had like worlds fastest and strangest car and like they would ram you then do insane flips. damn fun times. also i used to play around with the movie editor and have like epic movies i used to make.

Wow, that movie editor was insane, me and my mates used to make the best movies too. Man I hope that GTA V will has something similar.

I remember playing the first ToCA on PS1 and getting giddy when the rear bumper fell off. This video is just crazy.
