GameSpy writes: "The Pokemon Mystery Dungeon series is, at this point, venerable. At this age, we're impressed to see it jump so smoothly onto the DS with Explorers of Time and Explorers of Darkness. At Nintendo's Media Summit event last week, we got to see and get some hands-on time with the newest of the Mystery Dungeons, and they're looking good -- if quite familiar.
Me, I choose myself! Freaky!
The main allure of the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon series, as opposed to the traditional Pokemon RPG series, is that you actually play as a Pokemon, not one of their trainers. Explorers is no different, with you starting the game as a human being washed overboard in a storm. Landing on a mysterious island, you wake up to find yourself a Pokemon, with no memory of how you arrived."
