The difference is massive

aCasualGamer3878d ago

Don't get me wrong. I'm a big GTA fan and i'm getting the new one. But to compare a last gen game to a bullshot from a new game isn't really telling me that much. The real comparison i'm interested is between GTAIV and GTAV. I would like to see some great improvements in visual fidelity although that isn't my main focus when it comes to games like GTA.

The real seller is the sheer depth of the game itself and all the interactivities within the city.

Ye but GTA IV and GTA V is different, GTA V and GTA San Andreas are similar, that is why the comparison is with those two.

That's true. In that sense it does seem more appropriate. I would love to see a comparison between GTAIV and GTAV though, just to see what 5 years of development can do.

Jambab3878d ago

ye, I didn't think it was that big of a difference, I mean obviously I knew the textures and that change and more high res but ye.

The end of a generation to another, it's quite a significant step.

GTA IV graphics are 5 years out of date... Compare GTA V to a game of current time and that will be eye catching

Jambab3878d ago

Ye that is true, it really does feel like next-gen even though it's on this gen, imagine what the backend of next-gen will look like.

If they release GTA VI on next gen and they will. It will looking freaking amazing and they will expose full use of the next gen consoles at the max

More interested in money than giving fans what they want. Such a shame

CrimsonWing692d ago

With the amount of money they generated, I just don’t understand the scrubbing of this. It would’ve been fantastic for fans.

I really want to know who drove the decision to focus on multiplayer was it Rockstar or take two.

Because when online started taking off many of the studio leads began having falling outs and leading including a founder

Ikr mfs that greedy it's ridiculous

andy852d ago

This makes me sad. Trevor was one of my favourite characters in gaming

One of the reason I believe once gta 6 release, most of us thoroughly play it, enjoy the world they crafted then after that no offline support, no dlc at all
