Playing Nice: Why I’m hooked on team-based games

Some game developers want us to play nice. On the surface, forcing gamers to work together seems like a doomed idea. Yet, these are the games I find myself returning to most often. (Culture)

This is the main reason why I'm looking forward to 'The Division', it looks like it's be designed from the ground up as a team based multiplayer game. GTA Online is looking to overhaul the team based open world gameplay experience, and I can't wait.

I feel the same way about The Division. It seems to focus heavily on team gameplay, and I can't wait to see what mechanics they use to emphasize this.
