Pavilion is a game that, having been first announced last year for phones and PC, will now be making the jump to Sony's PS4 (and Vita!) "sometime next year".
Described by the two-man dev team as "a fourth person exploratory experience about guidance, influence and subliminal control", it's got some stunning hand-drawn art and a beautiful soundtrack by Tony Gerber.
In Pavilion: Touch Edition, from Visiontrick, players can’t control their hero directly — he won’t go where you tap or turn right at your command. Instead, you control the environment and your hero will route around obstacles you place. This fourth-person exploration adventure takes players through a mysterious dream world, full of logic puzzles to solve.
Masters of the peculiar and the surreal, Visiontrick Media has cultivated a unique image for itself as a game developer; incorporating new technology, and exploring the possibilities of interactive media. With their newly released title Pavilion blowing away audiences on mobile, Appolicious sit down with the studio's art director, Rickard Westman, and creative director Henrik Flink.
Start working at home with Google! It’s by-far the best job I’ve had. Last Friday I got a brand new BMW since getting a check for $6474 this - 5 weeks past. I began this 6-months ago and immediately was bringing home at least $85 per hour.. Go this web and start your work.. Good luck.... http://tiny.cc/ww3opy
AppUnwrapper writes: "Visiontrick Media’s Pavilion combines two things I love — puzzles and gorgeous, surreal artwork. On paper, everything looks great and should be an easy game to recommend. And it probably still is, but with some reservations."
Was scheduled for PC and phones but then:
"Interestingly, Pavilion's site now only makes mention of the PS4 and Vita editions. We asked the devs if that means the other platforms' versions are done for, and their response was "All we can say at this point is that it will be launched exclusively on PS4 & PS Vita."
They are going after the best of the best of Indie. Again this only make the PS4 and VTV look better and better.
PS Vita should be added to the tags :)
Yay another indie dev selling out to consoles!
And console gamers wonder why PC doesn't have any good games left? This is why!
Wow. Another indie game on the PS4. Great to know I'm buying a new console to play games that could be on my iPhone or ipad. They keep this up my new systems will be both collecting dust just like my PS3 is now. I remember when games were actually good back in the day.
Great vibes for next generation
