PS Vita TV demonstrates Sony's ambition, is dangerous for Ouya

Sony surprised the industry with the reveal of PS Vita TV this morning, but what does the device say about the company’s forward thinking? (Ouya, PS Vita)

Crazy how much of a dominant position they're in right now.

Vita TV vs Ouya
PS vita vs 3DS
PS vita LCD vs 2DS
PS3 killing 360
PS4 set to kill xbone and Wii U
Sony tablets, smartphones and PC's in their own respective markets, along with TV's.Add all those media devices together, paired with Gaikai, and you have perhaps the single biggest market for digital media.

Which they have plenty of.Some of the best games, best movies, best TV shows and best music is all under the Sony label.

This PS vita TV is just the tip of the digital streaming iceberg that is looming in the years to come.If Kaz plays it smart, and unites all these division (which looks to be what he's doing) Sony could be set to shake things up nicely.

@DayZ

Kaz definitely doing a good job!

All we need is an EU/NA release date for the PS Vita TV.

I didn't wanted a new Vita model with an HDMI slot to record gameplay and connect it to a tv. So Vita TV made it fair and accessible for every Vita user ! Good job Sony !! :D

How is the ps vita tv dangerous for Ouya?
The Ouya sucks balls anyways, even without vita tv
And no, fanboys of ouya, you cant justify the ouya
It is a shit console, with shit options, with a shit interface and shit for games
The emulator is craptastic and the games cost too much
Final fantasy, 17 euro. Teh fuck?! It plays on a fucking emulator, which is pure crap and you expect me to pay you for it?
