Marketing Can Make All The Difference for the Success of Video Games

As the fall approaches, and as a result a wave of video games, we begin to see advertising for the games that will release prior to the holidays. Both current and next gen games are being pushed more heavily to draw in those early shoppers (less than 110 more days, everyone!) to pick up this product or that. (PS3, WWE 2K14, Xbox 360)

The main thing that = success of video games.

UPDATEs. CONSTANT UPDATES 2k. All we want please. I don't mind graphics but please just update the game CONSTANTLY. Theres no excuse. COD, FIFA, Everything constantly update the game. Even bloody mario. So why, why do you guys not realise. Its fine for a game to have bugs. Once upon a time Just black ops alone had double the glitches in wwe 12. But they updated their game. Same with fifa. If wwe 2k14 isn't constantly updated like it always says in the news feed I'm not buying another wwe game even if theres was a 20 years of starcade mode and chris beniot.
Please 2k don't make me do that.

Good example would be Ducktales vs Castle of Illusion. Both similar games that should bring nostalgia back, yet Castle of Illusion went nearly un-noticed. Ducktales on the other hand had more hype than almost any digital game released in a while.
