10 Best Indie Games of this Generation

BioGamer Girl states, "There have been tons of great independent titles released in the video game industry in since 2005. Xbox LIVE Arcade, PlayStation Network and the increasing popularity of the Steam platform have paved the way for indie developers to get their carefully crafted games out to the public and an established gaming community. Later during the generation, Wii Ware, Steam Greenlight and Kickstarter were used to help boost interest in indie games and the later two allowed gamers to choose to support only the games they believed in during their development period." (Braid, Fez, Limbo, Minecraft, PC, PS3, Rogue Legacy, The Binding of Isaac, Xbox 360)

I think Game Dev Tycoon belongs on this list. I also liked Terraria more than Spelunky but that's just me.

Terraria and Spelunky are great. Pretty good list here.

Havent been able to put down Rogue Legacy once since I got it, so much fun. Pretty much every game on this list has given me countless hours of entertainment. Sadly I have yet to get my grubby mitts on Bastion and Fez but I hope to correct that soon.
