Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Ultimate Edition review - PCGMedia

As PCGMedia may have mentioned in our other reviews, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night is one of our favorite games of all time but to be honest, as many of other fans may have done, we did not expect much from a Castlevania reboot developed by an obscure Spanish indie developer (Mercury Steam) despite the support they received from Konami and Kojima themselves. Lords of Shadow definitely does not deserve to be a Castlevania title due to its complete and utter deviation from the franchise’s traditional formula and mechanics. Why did we rate it so high then? Let me explain. (Castlevania Lords of Shadow Ultimate Edition, PC) 78/100
