"A reader explains why she intends to make the 2DS her son’s first console, and why she’s so fed up of people berating Nintendo.
Why all the hate for the 2DS? As a mother of a toddler I’ve been thinking since day one when he was born what his first console should be. The requirements are of course centred around price and durability first and foremost, as a main console I have decided on Nintendo 64. It’s practically indestructible with a good controller for kids, none of those disc-based things – that’s asking for trouble – and modern consoles since the PS one seem far too delicate in general.", writes Metro.

Black Ops still holding off Red Dead, interesting. Crazy to think that Mario Party almost sold as much as Red Dead did.
Nintendo hardware up.. Playstation hardware down..
Software numbers definitely seem low this week overall.
Red Dead didn't do that great in Japan and the Switch went up in sales. Probably from people getting excited over Pokemon Let's Go. Dragon Ball Fighterz is still hanging in there. Good for it.

13/20 are Switch titles, 16/20 are on Nintendo hardware. Japan really loves the Switch right now.
