Bayonetta 2 Hands-on Gameplay Footage from PAX Prime

Barry: "If you like intense sexy carnage, then Bayonetta 2 is the game for you. Bayonetta is back with short hair and looking sexier as ever. Equipped with new weapons like the twin swords and twin whips, and new umbra witch powers, you are once again Beating up Angles in the most erotic way possible. Bayonetta 2 is making the Wii U look sexy. Check out the video here." (Bayonetta 2, Wii U)

I can see why folks are excited that this game is coming back. A lot of buzz about this game with much more to come I'm sure.

The Wii U's killer app!

This game will be system seller people! just watch.

Nintendo would be crazy not to make this part of a value bundle. By doing it with Windwaker HD, its clear that they understand what their audience wants.
ritsuka666  +   890d ago
Nintendo will make another bundle of Bayonetta for sure.
dboyc310  +   890d ago
If people didn't buy the first one when it was multiplatform I highly doubt they'll shell out money for the wii u just to play it.
LOGICWINS  +   890d ago
If what Nintendo is suggesting is true, Bayonetta 2 will be the tip of the iceberg as far as AAA exclusives in 2014 are concerned
LOL_WUT  +   890d ago
They'll be a lot of exposing to do if this game flops ;)

I highly doubt that this game will sell systems. I'm a huge fan of the first Bayonetta but I won't buy a Wii-U for that game. Nintendo's approach to steal some of the core gamers from Sony and MS was half-heartedly executed. On one side they bring a game like Bayonetta 2. On the other side they miss out on some of the most important multiplatform games. Nintendo's true system sellers would be a 3D Mario, a new Zelda, Kart, Smash Bros. and so on.
ritsuka666  +   890d ago
You are underestimate the fanbase of Bayonetta bro, they are big fanbase and this game will be a system seller for sure.

one day i will look back at this and laugh at how one game made the entire Sony/MS fandom go into maximum butthurt mode.
Misaka_x_Touma  +   890d ago
Indeed but some still are

Some still don't acknowledge Nintendo owns Bayonetta 2.
mohuz2  +   890d ago
yeah, the butthurt still burns, even though I'm 90% sure most of the guys complaining haven't even played the first one XD
it's cute though, these guys still have hope! lmao

I'm not "butt hurt" about this?! Hahaha!
Matter fact, I'm cheering for the wiiU cause it finally got something I actually want!
come on Ninifans,I don't want Sony to take out Nintendo completely now....

Platinums support has gone a long way in making me feel good about my Wii U.

Love it!

This and Killer is Dead remind me why I love Japanese Games so much! They are absolutely punishing, but the Payoff is substantial. They teach you patience and you actually feel like you accomplished something when you defeat a Boss with 5 Health bars! :)

Looks fantastic but I can't wait to see for myself how good it is on Wii U. Seeing videos taken of gameplay at events don't cut it. Very excited for this exclusive though and I never played the first one!!

In time when the Wii U sells for at least 150 or less dollars, then it'll be worth getting this game.
Sevir  +   890d ago
This game made me want to buy a Wii U again... It is exhilarating... Kamiya seriously took the classic DMC formula and shot it to the sky... This one pissed all over Bayonnetta 1. And I thought that one was outstanding... A pity it's exclusive to the Wii U...
NaAsAr  +   890d ago
I would see if I could find a used wiiU in and workable condition just for this game. the gameplay looks awesome.
