Video game developer/publisher Konami is expanding its North American physical presence with the opening of a new development studio in Los Angeles.
Hanzala from eXputer: "Contra: Operation Galuga is a classic revival done right, but why hasn't Konami done the same yet for the bigger and more popular Castlevania?"
Slowdown. Let them get these suikoden games done first. Alot of us are still waiting for those
well, the new C ontra was made by Wayforward, who have been taking sooooo many of these classic franchises and making new iterations of them. Imo they aren't very good at it. And I don't see operation galuga being a large enough success to possibly give them Castlevania.
These groundbreaking video games changed gaming forever and drew in scores of fans in the process.
From first-person espionage thrillers to the original installments of beloved franchises, check out the greatest retro video games we recommend for anyone.
I’d have taken a few of those out. Prefer Sonic over Sonic 2. Outrun should be in there. Maybe even Pong as millions of people had fun with that even if it was repetitive. Final Fight pipped any Streets of Rage game, although Streets of Rage had the better soundtrack. Too many to list l guess. To me, retro gaming is the 1980s, maybe going into early 1990s.
It's more like Kojima Productions studio
Lol let the Americanisation (americanisation development I mean) of Metal Gear begin. Resident Evil and Silent Hill are already dead. Lets kill another iconic series.
LA home for the best talent? I am doubtful of that.
I can't name 5 games I have played that I have loved that are from a LA studio.
Amercanisation awesome were are still locking ourselves into regionalism? Racism? Who cares as long as something good comes from it. A single minded look at things never beats getting fresh ideas and what's wrong with LA. Don't really answer that bc there's a lot wrong with la
it is always good news when a gaming studio is opening.what we don't need is gaming studio's closing down. congratulations kojima.
