Calm down everyone, there is a rumour going around that Bethesda is having problems with Microsoft AND Sony about double subscriptions for this game. Sony may have convinced Bethesda to bring the game to consoles, but they may also be trying to get it behind the PS+ paywall.

Mind you, it's just a rumour at this point, at least where Sony is concerned. Pete Hines confirmed that it's a problem they're facing with Microsoft in an OXM article, but only a spokesperson for Bethesda (not Pete Hines, who is VP of PR and Marketing) said they were facing a similar situation with Sony.

I personally don't see myself spending $15/month for a game, but who knows, if StarCraft MMO did, I would probably be all over it especially if that is all I played.

Not everything has to be tied down to a financial deal. Getting it off PC and on to consoles is stiff big in itself as there is another reason to get more people buying a console (and there isn't a lot of them so high chance it being their console). Remember these console manufacturers want these PC games to come to consoles. If Bethesda refused an exclusive deal, Sony had to settle with it being on all platforms (which is still better, for them, than just on PC)

I doubt many players will pick this up for consoles and because the servers are segregated (PC/PS4/Xbox all play by themselves) I can see the console population being pretty vacant. If you're really hyped about MMO's PC is the where you want to play them - unless they unify all platforms to play on the same servers.

I don't resent them, heck I have their ps3 console, their VAIO laptop, 2 of their walkman phones (w880i and w550i) in the past and a PS2.

PS3 lovers either praised or defended it while Xbox lovers barely talked about their console, instead attaching PS3. It was even overwhelming with PS3 still 6 months to go til launch. This is very untrue. Zenimax received a 300 million dollar investment after Oblivion to create an MMO that has always been rumored to come to consoles.

That being said this is a piece of shit regardless. Bethesda has just done a very good to make it seem like it plays like ES games, but instead it plays like a generic MMO with first person camera view.
