Forza Motorsport 5 assists comparison video - Team VVV

VVV: "Concluding our Forza Motorsport 5 coverage, our latest Gamescom gameplay video sees Alan once again testing out the new physics engine with all the assists turned off in an Audi R18.

For this run, we thought we'd have a little comparison. Curious to see how novice players will experience Forza 5, Alan flicked off the assists expecting a softer, more superficial drive that compromises the physics in favour of accessibility like many other racers. Fortunately, it turns out Forza 5 is the exception, as the car dynamics don't seem to have been sacrificed. This was of course an early version of the game however, so whether or not this will still be the case in the final game remains to be seen. (Forza Motorsport 5, Xbox One)

This is looking good. I likes it, I likes it. Autovista mode is gonna be great!

Slightly off-topic: Are game prices going to be $60 for digital downloads still? Plus, can XB1 do preloads? That would be cool.

I'm sorry, but I can't stand these types of videos, because you can't really tell what his hands are doing or rather how exactly he's handling the controls and how that relates to the onscreen action. So you end up having to take the person's word for how it feels (which never really translates well in video anyway or at least hasn't yet that I know of). If I have to go by what I'm looking at it looks kinda same-ish to me. I don't think I can take another Forza game, it always feels like a gamble with this franchise. The 1st was ok, 2 was great, 3 was a great disappointment (I almost didn't get 4 as a result, but ended up being pleasantly surprised). I think I have a pretty good feel for this franchise by now, and don't need to see anymore. I'll see what I think if it ever gets demoed in a store, or I know someone who gets it (easier said than done, 1st they have to get an XB1 and 2nd they need to be into racing games in order to pick this up).
