Batman: Arkham Origins Preview | GameGrin

Warner Bros. Montreal are very much taking their cues from the previous entries in the series and not overly complicating the formula for Batman: Arkham Origins with sweeping changes. However, the new gadgets and new enemies will certainly go some ways to refreshing the experience and adding a little something extra. (Batman: Arkham Origins, PC, PS3, Wii U, Xbox 360)

They were smart to keep it close to the past games.

It will sell better that way.

Also, because of this, other companies may trust their IP to these guys now, knowing they stay faithful to the source.

Rocksteady Studios, the previous developers of the Arkham series, were acquired by Warner Bros. (well, Time Warner) in 2010. I believe Rocksteady also had started work on Origins before it was handed over to WB Montreal.
