Minecraft sells over 12 million copies on PC

Mojang’s insanely popular sandbox game Minecraft has exceeded 12 million copies sold on PC today. With over $323 million in revenue, this makes Minecraft by far one of the most popular indie games ever released.
This follows the announcement at the end of June earlier this year, when Minecraft surpassed 11 million copies sold. This is all on top of Minecraft: Pocket Edition selling over 10 million copies, and the Xbox 360 version selling over 8 million.
Microsoft have acknowledged Minecraft’s ludicrous popularity, announcing that the game will be available to play on their upcoming Xbox One console. Sony have also confirmed that the game will come out for the Playstation 4. Meanwhile, Nintendo are apparently “big fans”, but have nothing to announce with regards to Minecraft on the Wii U or handheld devices.
Minecraft is available to purchase on the official website, just in case you’re the one person in the world that has never played. (Minecraft, PC)

I have never played this game
But from what I hear it really cool

It's ok but if you see the "the end" of the useless mining or adventuring. You'll be bored fast. You have to have a project.... like build a castle or build an extremely long rail system that connects islands or whatever.

I suggest checking out 7 Days to Die, which is Minecraft + DayZ, but it's still in Alpha 1.

I read it's coming out on ps4
Is it on disc or download?

^It's gotta be download. It's a java based game. It's only like 312kb or so on the PC.

Unless you're talking about 7 Days to Die... currently it's less than a 1gb in Alpha 1. Alpha 2 will finally add "Zombie Spiders", bloats that have acid to corrode blocks, and flying enemies. Zombie Spiders is a tentative name for zombies who can climb and destroy walls for those who love building high fortifications.

If you have a smartphone there is a free version (its stripped down, I think without survival mode) available to get a feel for it. Its one of those games that you can do crazy things with if you have the time/imagination.

12 million on PC, 8 million on Xbox 360, 10 million on mobile platforms; Minecraft is a phenomenon!

Lol at the disagree, how could anyone disagree with that?

Maybe they would like to tell us why they disagree.

Though that won't happen as people on here love their anonymity.
