Megaman Successor – Mighty No. 9 Already At 82% Of Goal

Inafune’s revelation occurred only 24 hours ago, and at the moment the total amount raised is $745,000 of the needed $900k. For the console versions to be made $2.5 million has to be raised, but with 29 days still on the clock, I would say the console versions are a safe bet.

Update:

Mighty No.9 reached Kickstarter goal in less than 48 Hours, Console Versions Likely.

Totally going to buy this if it comes to consoles!

Capcom doesn't want my money, so giving it to Keiji and his team is a no-brainer.

I would LOVE for this to be on Vita. That console is perfect for that game!

But I'm pretty wary about the decision to release on current gen consoles, I mean, the game will be released in 2 years time for PS3, 360, and by that time quite a few of current gen gamers will be next gen. Why not get your game out on PS4/XB1 as early as possible, when there's less games on the system so you get more discoverability..... doesn't make sense to me.

I pledged my support early this morning and am extremely happy it's near its goal. I hope that people continue pledging well after they reach their goal in order to meet the stretch goals or it won't come to console. Who am I kidding, it'll far surpass its stretch goals!!!

Jesus, it costs more to have this up on the consoles?

Kudos to you Keiji Inafune for making it happen, he always keeps his promises

This'll most likely come to the PS4 and XB1 as well, because if you look at the stretch goals, 2 or 3 of them are unknown at the moment. At this rate this'll reach it's goal by the end of the day.

Either way this is a big middle finger to Capcom and it's well deserved. I'm still remembering the troll cameo of Megaman in Street fighter x Tekken.
