At the moemnt, I'm spending my paycheque on special edition for both GTA 5 and Beyond, and ltd ed. strategy guide for GTA 5

Why the hell this isnt coming out for the PS4 at launch is beyond me.
mistertwoturbo  +   608d ago
I know... it's strange because I'll probably be stuck playing PS4 and forget about this title. :(

Hell, it would have been awesome for them to do a dual release. Imagine the PS4 version actually looking like all the trailers they release.

- GT1 and GT2 on PS
- GT3 and GT4 on PS2
- GT5 and GT6 on PS3

- PS3 has an install base of over 70 million units...
More sells for GT6. I bet GT6 will sell more than GT5(GT5 has sold 12 million copies)

- They have DriveClub for the PS4, they can't release 2 exclusive racing games at the same time, that would be a bad strategy.

- GT6 on PS3 looks stunning!

- Sony tell it's customers, that it won't abandon the PS3 after PS4 release by releasing a huge franchise on PS3.

Well, they said the PS3 has a 10 year life span and I believe them, the PS2 is still hanging around.
mistertwoturbo  +   608d ago
While all true, GT4 did not come out AFTER the PS3 released. GT4 was released in December, 2004 while the PS3 released November 2006.

This is absolutely backwards that GT6 releases 1 month after the PS4 is released.

seeing that many of my friends are not changing generation right away, GT6 is welcome for those fans.

They will sell more copies of the game while its on PS3 because theres a lot more people will own a PS3 than a PS4. It makes a lot of sense that its on PS3.

So how does the track generator work? Is it something akin to Modnations creator track system?
WarThunder  +   608d ago
something something i suppose! ^_^
paul-p1988  +   608d ago
However it works i hope it is better than the GT5 track maker. The idea had such potential, but instead they gave us a tool that was just "pick a number of corners, now the difficulty of them, and we will just throw the rest together and you have no other input"....

I wanted to make hairpins, S bends, long right handers etc but just had to settle for making a random track that was RUBBISH!

Tbh, the Modnation Racers one, as much as i didnt like the racing mechanics, had a brilliant track creater, and Polyphony could learn a thing or 2 from it (like giving the user full control of everything on the creation of a track!)

Forza? hahahaha... Forza? hahahaha... FORZA??? HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! A current generation racer outdoing a next generation racer sure is a kick in the pants to Microsoft. THIS right here is a living breathing reason for buying GT6 over the Next Gen forza.

A consecutive release on both PS3 and PS4 would have kept the ps3 relevant and would have sold even more PS4,s...just saying.
Me-Time  +   608d ago
This guy really, really, REALLY, REAALLLLYYYY has no idea what he's talking about. Yes, it would have sold more PS4's. That's not the reason it needed to be released on the PS3 nor is it A reason to not take full advantage of the PS4 by creating a game from start to finish that was MADE for it, the next-gen, not a last-gen system.

I'm 500% dumber for reading that comment...and may God have mercy on your soul.
Me-Time  +   608d ago
Hmm this guy made a solid argument with his last statement. I wonder who will say that he's dumb considering that it wasn't a dumb statement at all. A troll maybe? Shucks...
Me-Time  +   608d ago
You've been trolling the GT series for the past year now. I said nothing that should be considered to be as dumb as your posts. That's all. ha looks like I don't have to try at all with this post. He can't reply to me anymore. Good luck, sir. You trolled every GT article before this like no other, and I don't expect to respect you ever.

the sad part is that I didn't even mean to "diss" this guy and he took the opportunity to be a prick to me. Be smart, Low IQ. That's your name, isn't it?

the funnier part is that you don't even realize that I'm the only one you're going to think about from now on. Good luck getting the image of a moron with sunglasses out of your mind...
